Failure to return deposit - Be ware of STEER & CO

Steer & Co has taken most of my deposit for repairs to the property I moved out of! (30/04/2013 - noon) After bugging them for ages, I received my in and out going inspection reports on 15/05/2013. The inspector said all work was maintanance, wear and tear and structural and I was not liable for any of it - my money would be paid out within 7 days... NOW, they want me to pay for all sorts of things.
They still have not given me proof of my money being invested and also, as yet have not given me a statement as requested. I phoned the bank and they verified that all investments and accounts, interest are calculated monthly. SO on my amount, I should have gotten R1729.50 - according to STEER it is only R103!
If you rent from STEER & CO - please take photos of EVERYTHING and get a copy of the inspection report - there and then. They alrered my after I left!!! SO - Be ware!!!
