The properties management by Galencia Property like Phoenix View Estate are in such a bad state, which leaves much to be disired considering I bought mine only two years ago. All along, my water bill has been less than R100 then a sudden change since November 2012 where my bill was in access of R1000 just for water. I took it up with Galencia & they sent a plumber who admitted that there was a problem with their systems & some homowners pay R5000 just for water. Mind you, there are no leaks or anything & the plumber says he gets lots of call regarding the water issue. Galencia have refused to attend to the situation or reimburse me for the monies i've being paying to Protea Metering for absured water bill. Should you not pay the bill, you cannot by prepaid electricity as your meter number gets blocked. This is just one of the examples of the shady workmanship by Galencia which among others includes Leaking walls, Paint falling off, Cupboards not properly mounted and bath tubs cracking. Worse is the refusal to attend to the issues by Galencia Property. I've lost so much money as a result of an impossible water bill & Galencia just turns a blind eye on it.
