I received my statement for the month of Dec 2012 with a bill of R1276.05, where as my normal bill is about R200-300 per month, the same as what it has been for the pass 3 months for this year 2013, I have contacted them on 14 Jan 2013, and they said they will get back to me within 20 days, I then I HAD to contact them again on the 11 Feb 2013, and then they told me that it will take 30 days for them to look at my Query, I then HAD to contact them again on the 12 Mar 2013, and they still didnt make any contact with me what so ever, i then sent them an E-mail to the following address: 'correspondance.crm@capetown.gov.za', 'accounts@capetown.gov.za', and their automatic reply said they will get back within 7days, they still didnt make any contact with me ever since,
this is completely unacceptable, how can my account be 6 times high for one month, the one call centre agent told me it was the usage for that month, how can it be the usgae, are they thinking that we are or what.

I was also told by the agent when i called in Feb 2013 that i must continue to pay what i normally do, and i have been doing so since then
And now my question is, does the City really work for me?
