EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE

MY HUSBAND APPLIED FOR UIF IN JANUARY 2013. HE HAD TO GO BACK FOR "SIGNATURE" 2 HE HAD TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN 4 HOURS BEFORE HE WAS TOLD "SORRY THEY HAVE NOT APPROVED YET", TODAY WE PHONED AND WAS TOLD THAT IT STILL IS NOT APPROVED. WE LEFT A TELEPHONE NR WITH JAN - APPARENTLY THE "SUPERVISOR IN LEPHALALE" THAT TOOK OUR NRAT 09H53 TO RETURN OUR CALLS BUT AT 13H14 I PHONED BACK 3 TIMES AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE "STILL WAITING BUT THE DOCUMENTS WERE SUBMITTED" IT IS 3 MONTHS NOW AND THERE IS NOT EVEN AN E-MAIL OPENED OR ANY ATTENTION GIVEN TO HIS CLAIM. I WAS GIVEN 4 DIFFERENT NRS AND AFTER PHONING AND HOLDING ON FOR MORE THAN 6 - 7 MINUTES EVERY TIME, I PHONED JAN AT LEPHALALE AGAIN JUST TO BE TOLD "OH, BUT OUR PEOPLE ARE ON LUNCH. WHILE I WAS TALKING TO THIS GUY JAN HE KEPT ON INTERRUPTING ME AND AT ONE STAGE EVEN STARTED SINGING IN MY EAR, I THINK THIS DEPARTEMENT IS UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE STAFF IN THIS DEPARTMENT HAS GOT NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL. THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A DEPARTMENT TO ASSIST THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA BUT I THINK THEIR ATTITUDES ARE PROOF OF A SERIOUS LACK OF DISCIPLINE, RESPONSIBILITY, COMPETENCY, CLIENT CARE THIS IS A DISGRACE
