City of Tshwane Municipality
Transaction against my closed account

In 2009 I lived in a Wingatepark. I had a municipal account which I closed. On this account was a credit owed to me of R465.49 as I paid money into this account by accident after it was closed, as it was loaded as a beneficiary on my internet banking.

This money was never credited to me. On 9 Dec 2012, I received an account where this amount was debit against "Finansiele Heffings/ Regstellings."

This is a transaction as this money is not owned to Tshwane Municipality but owned to me and instead of notifying me of a method of reinbursment, the amount owned to me was debited so that they can even more money from another innocent consumer.

It seems to me that Thwane Municipality can credit an account with any amount when they feel like it... and just put such expense against "finansieele heffings/regstellings"

I am sick an tired, as I have recently also realised that "finansieele Heffings was charged of over R800 on my current municipal account which nobody can explain. I have send a request for this to be rectified with no response.
