West Park Cemetery
Wall of Remeberance West Park Cemetery

Politics & Government

My Husband Passed away on 12 July 2013.

I went to West Park Cemetery to book a space in the Wall of Remembrance and paid for this space.
I was given a PEN to go an mark the space that I wish to use and I did so.

Now 6 months after placing my Husbands ashes down and he is Happy and at Piece they contact me to tell me that this space was reserved for somebody else and that they bought this space in 2006.

They now demand me to remove my Husbands ashes and place is elsewhere on the wall. This is very traumatic and I feel that West Park did not do their job properly surely they need to double check these things to see if the spaces that you reserved is correct before you lay your spouse of parents or who ever to rest.

I think this is so unnecessary to go through all this pain again. I cannot explain my feelings and what I feel at this point in time is just disgust in the service of West Park Cemetery.

I feel like telling them to leave my Husband there and give the other party a new place, but apparently they do not want to do this and now I must suffer.
