Misleading information

Politics & Government

I called the park to enquire about having our daughter's first birthday there. I asked whether I could hire jumping castles etc and I was told no, no way can I incovenience the public. I was told I'm not allowed to bring umbrella's or gazebo's as well. On my first visit to the park I saw umbrella's and gazebo's - first bit of information that seemed to be 'misleading'. When i called and asked about the date I wish to have my daughters party I was only told about an event which would take place there the Sunday and no mention about Saturday. I was told the park opens @ 6am, so my husband, uncle and best friend got to the park @ 6am hoping to 'reserve' our spot. But to our suprise we were told that the spot is reserved (oh and i was told i cant reserve any spots either) but this spot was reserved because these people (i was told it's the city of cape Town's manager's child) paid for the booking - was I told that I could pay i sure wouldve. I didnt call in advance for nothing. While walking around we then found more reserved signs around the park. Now surely what goes for the goose goes for the gander. I think it's very unfair that the rules of the park only goes for certain people.
