Cancelled fault log without fixing the problem!

We haven't had electricity since yesterday morning. We reported it and were told that someone would call us within 4hours. When they called us our cell phone had died (we couldn't charge it as had no electricity) and when we finally managed to call the call centre to follow up we were told that the technician left us a message and because we didn't answer our phone they closed the fault log and were not doing anything to fix the problem. I found this completely ridiculous that because you don't answer the phone on the first try they just cancel the log. No voicemail with a number to call them back on, no trying again to get hold of us, just cancel the log without telling us. Absolutely unacceptable.
