4 Oct we booked in, mom-in-law made us check the door was locked before we went to bed. 3am the following morning we woke up with someone in the bungalow. After this person ran out, we discovered our cellphones. The police informed us that there had been a break in at that very same bungalow before. The security said they weren't told there was going to be anyone there for the week-end so they did not patrol our area that night. We were told all bungalows were fully booked except ours when booking, but we discovered all the other bungalows were empty the following morning. The manager of the resort said there were no other bookings for any of the other bungalows. After contacting the area manager of the municipality to enquire about a claim against their insurance to re-imburse us for our phones, he said the bookings were "postponed" and cancelled. Why were the locks not changed after the last burglary? Why were we told all other bungalows were booked but weren't? Why wasn't the security told there was going to be people there the week-end? How did they obtain access without damaging the lock? Maybe with a key? A week-end of loss for us but they don't care
