In july my municipal account started coming R4000 yet only 2people lived in the house. After the call center cudnt assist, my husband went to the walk in sandton center and spoke to Joseph who flagged our account and said we were being charged for 3 mteres estimated. He assured he will have this sorted out.this was 2motnhs ago and around the same time a new meter got fitted in of which the reading could be done online. Joseph advised we only needed to pay R1600 as they would need to owe us. My husband went in 3 times after that and they said they will followup and sort it out. we have since moved to durban and phoned the call center as the walkin refuses to deal with us.at the call center we spoke to some1 who didnt no how to see if the account was flagged putting me on hold for several minutes and was still not able to help. This has been going on since july and nothing has been sorted out. Our account has since increased from R0 to R11000 . tho the new meter is in, municapl workers still come by to read the meter, why??? when is someone going to take resposibility in sorting this out and stop beating around the bush???
