Politics & Government

I went to Durban for a wedding photo shoot. My car was broken into and all my photography gear, my luggage, my son's school bag with his Matric books, my brand new spare wheel, new car jack, and lots other staff. I opened the case and was told fingerprints would be taken. When the finger prints corps arrived they told me they were not taking prints as these days it is pointless as the criminals know how to hide prints and also, my car was parked outside, the weather interfere with prints. When I got back to Jo'burg, I phoned the station where I was told my case was closed as I had no evidence, I must re-open it once I have found evidence. I then insisted on talking to a senior person who I had to battle finding. He told me that the procedure was all done wrong by the corps that refused to take the finger prints and also my case was not supposed to have been closed. 29 June 2013 I got one corp that told me he is the one investigating my case. I asked him how he is investigating when they refuse to take finger prints which were going to lead them to the criminal, which he agreed with me he can never be able to investigate this case.
