Tshwane District Hospital
Very poor care or reaction to sick old women

Hi,

2 days ago my mother fell, due to illness, as we (my sister and I) are both working, and cannot afford private hospital, we rushed our mom (Mrs Ley) to Steve Biko, as she was disorientated and very ill. After waiting so long, they referred her to Tshwane District Hospital, what a cruel and disgusting way they treat an old lady, who could hardly walk, and is very weak. The Doctor told us not to tell her what to do, as she is the doctor, and she knows what to do. She did not even check my mom, just said she has pneumonia, and is weak, and that they do not admit for non serious illness. My mom is alone at home, she cant walk, is to weak to bath herself, it seems she has no control over her bladder or anything... What should we do..this was the worst experience I have ever had, What happened to free medical help for old people and the caring of patients..
