Harassment by the alumni call centre

I received a call a week ago at 9pm on a weekday evening from the uct alumni call centre trying to get money from me for future students. I politely said I don't give money to students I will never meet and suggested they send me information for future alumni things via email. Thereafter for the last week, this same blocked number has been phoning during the evenings which I have subsequently ignored. They also phoned my elderly parents on their homeline to try and get hold of me and then I would have a missed blocked call proving this was the alumni again! Never leaving messages and phoning so late at night is shocking behavior! Harassment!!
Enough was enough so I phoned the UCT alumni office this morning and requested no more phone calls which the lady said would be handled. Tonight again at 8pm I just received another alumni call which I answered and told them off for phoning so late and never to contact me again. Tomorrow I will be phoning to remove myself from the alumni database! Shocking way to treat alumni students and professional individuals!
