Exciting possibilities for students?

I recently applied for a student loan for my son who is studying at an international university and in his 3rd year. The degree that he is studying cannot be studied in SA. The university is one of the biggest in the USA and is accredited. I was firstly advised by the student loan division that there was certain documentation I needed before I could apply. I gathered all the information and went into my nearest branch. I was given hard copies of the forms by a consultant to complete and bring back. On phoning the student loans it the branch to make an appointment to bring the forms back, I was advised that I had to apply online!!...which I then did. Once the application was completed, I was told that the University was not an accredited and that no loan could be considered. I then took the documentation with the accreditation on to the bank and after submission to the Student loan division was advised that it wasn't an accredited university with Standard Bank!? On phoning to query I was advised that someone would call back and still has not 2 days later. Surely these students are future SB clients?
