I have been commuting with the Gautrain since the line was opened to pretoria, I must say this is a fantastic service, but for quite sometime now the sandton station parking management has been horribly bad, clause to inexistant. Out of the three exit lane, only one has a way to leave the lane if something is wrong while going out, for the two other line, people leave the car there blocking the exit. It happens that people don't have enough fund on the card, there is no place to pay than going to the station and queue, why not to install a pay point near the exit? Lately, there has been paper indicating that some of the parking are reserved for 4x4, without any indication of why! I had an argument this morning with the security people because I parked my car at the wrong place they eventually explained to me that was because of of spare wheel but i did not have time to move but indicated that I'll do it tomorrow, I was threaten to have my wheel clamped. What a poor management of threatening your customer. I think it is time that the station manager start doing some work for the money he earns.
