(19 Mar) Robyn in Cape Town calls saying that our wedding bands weren't engraved because designs were received (from Tarryn in their Jhb office) too late and I won't have to pay for the engraving. Tarryn had had the approved design for my husbands ring for weeks, mine since the 13 Mar. On collection of our wedding bands (20 Mar) the ring design I signed off on is NOT the ring I received. Tarryn tells me "don't panic" customer service will be in touch but no one calls or emails. 3 Apr I get both our wedding bands sent back - my band for remaking and both of ours for engraving. Emails from Melissa and a call from Robyn follow, both with attitude. I get told that I must now pay for engraving. I also get told that my wedding band will be with me by 16 Apr. On 15 Apr I get an email, not a call, telling me my ring will be a day late. My husband calls because I'm disgusted with the despicable customer service and lack of integrity of CMD. He gets told maybe Friday (19 Apr). Then later the same day an email says 23 Apr. We spent just under R20k with CMD yet were treated with apathy. I finally have my ring but am still waiting for a copy of replacement insurance docs signed on 19 Mar.
