Corioliss Hair Iron

We Purchased a Corioliss hair iron about 3 years ago and have had some problems with the control unit
it is literally used for 10 minutes each morning only.
On enquiry we were told there are no spares parts available for these units, and pretty much washed their hands of it.

Not being happy with this I persisted and contacted the UK office who contacted Carlton who eventually called me and promised they would try make some kind of plan to help. I have now been waiting since November 2012.

It is rather sad that when you purchase an item which costs in excess of R2000.00 that there are no spare parts available and no repair system in place and that no one informs you of this when you make the purchase. Other brands do have these services in place and repair centres around the country.

My advice to anyone looking for a similar item is do not buy this brand as you will have to throw it away after a very short time and you are better off with a GHD which has repair centres, customer service help and spares available throughout South Africa.

Very disappointed with the unhelpful service.
