NITRAGUARD - Nitra Guard

I purchased this product to the tune of R 3 100. The product did not work as indicated in MY aquarium system after trying everything and over 20 mails back and forth... of which I have a paper trail of every question and answer.

After the first month I wished to return the product, Mark advised not to, as the product needs more time to work. I nearly had my whole system crash on me... also lost 4 SPS pieces due to the fluctuating nutrient levels in my tank.

I always ran a ATS, which kept my system clean and balanced. I chose this product as it seemed like a viable option to outcompete the algae for nutrients.. thus starving them. - decommissioning ATS.

LET ME SAY... an ATS WILL OUTCOMPETE THESE CUBES... as these cubes did not work at all... I complained to Mark (the manufacturer) and was advised to take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.

I tried that.. three weeks later i am still out of R 3 100... being told the product quantity is not correct... and a whole lot of other issues.

To anyone looking at using this product:> DONT... rather use a algae scrubber... its economical to run..and you wont loose your money like i did.
