Tollgate ridicule

As we paid the R67 at the tollgate the lady in the booth informed us that the Schoemanskloof road is closed. We were going to Lydenburg and had to turn around and travel back the odd 60 km to take the Dullstroom road. This meant we wasted time, spent money on driving an additional 100 km and they refused to give us a refund. There are no road signs earlier to warn the road is closed! No info were given at the previous tollgate. The lady at they had issued numerous press releases as a big bicycle race were sheduled for today. Sorry that I don't read about bicycle races!
