No delivery of overseas parcel

Sent off a parcel to the UK on 20 Nov 2012, being told that from date of loading on the ship 4 weeks for delivery, I was happy with this.!!! Well now 27 February 2013 parcel still not in the UK, when I inquired, I was brushed off by the person on the other side of the glass, "90 days from the day it leaves SA??? The first reply I did receive was the Post office is striking, is that our fault??? Will most definitely not use them for any parcels ever again.
