Global Visas
They will your money

Miscellaneous

Global Visa's told my fiance and I that we were eligible to immigrate to Canada as he is a plumber and on the shortage skill. Every conversation I had with them I confirmed via email. We started the process and paid over R14250. My fiance then secured an interview with an employer in Canada only to be asked if we knew that his qualification is not recognized in Canada and that he would have to work as an apprentice and then write an exam in 6 months and get a minimum pass mark of 70%. So I did my research and it turns out that foreign qualifications (plumbing anyway) can only be transferred to a Canada recognized qualification once you write the exam and if you fail, you cannot work in Canada as a Plumber! We were prepared to pack up our lives here and immigrate there, but we cannot take the chance for 6 months. None of this was disclosed to us. All we were told was that my fiance qualified and all he needed was a job offer. In fact, their so-called eligiblity letter says: We have already checked the validity and equivalency of "his" qualifications and these are
available on request. But his qualification is NOT equivalent so this is a lie. Seems I have a case for...
