Waiting foreve

My friend sent me a parcel on 09/02/2013 (Sat.) from Croatia. They told him the parcel will be in South Africa in 4 working days making the delivery on the 14/02/2013. It was supposed to be a nice surprise but unfortunately it is the 24/02/2013 and I am STILL waiting for my parcel to be delivered to me.

My friend went the EXTRA mile to pay the more expensive price for it to be delivered on the fast mailing option but that didn't help anything. Who will repay him the hard earned little money he had and spent it on postage to get it to me asap?

I am very disappointed. I called track and trace but they just say it is in JHB, I went to Witbank Riverview Cresent branch and the gentleman there told me I would receive it at the end of the week (Friday 22/02/13) Is it the customer's problem if SAPO employees are striking?

Your urgent attention to this matter will be appreciated.
