The SPCA butchered by dog

I took my dog to the SPCA Booysens after being referred by the Parkview Vet. The dog needed an urgent operation that I could not afford.

I took the dog to the Johannesburg SPCA in Booysens on 19 February and he was operated urgently to remove a part of his intestine that had caused a blockage.

The dog was ready to be discharged two days later. When I picked him up he could barely walk he was disoriented and weak and I wondered whether it was just too early for him to be discharged.

I took him home and went out. I returned 4 hours later and found him dead.

At no point the SPCA told me that the dog was at risk of dying. AT NOT POINT they told me that I should watch out for any warning sign. How can my dog die 4 hours after being discharged? I was so heartbroken. He must have suffered so much and must have died of pain.

THE DOG SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN DISCHARGED SO EARLY!!! YOU BUTCHERED MY DOG! Because you are over stretched and overworked you provide a dismal service, butcher jobs on animals because you simply say you doing for peanuts. Rather put a dog down than take our money for a butcher job,
