Purchasing of a New Kia Sportage

My husband and I visited the local Kia Dealership in George wanting trade in our Kia Sorento for the new Kia Sportage.
We received a quote from the sales agent - and we accepted the quote and requested to proceed with buying the new car,
Went to the dealer to start the process advise them that we are taking up the offer and as discussed with the sales agent this will be a cash buy.

When received the invoice to pay in the amount as per the quote we received a different amount and that the amount that we need to pay in is R 40k more than the quote - Upon querying the difference we were informed that my husband must have misunderstood as the quote given was for when we applying for finance through WesBank - we never indicated that we will be applying for finance and never were we given 2 quotes to show the difference - we ask them how this can be resolved we were just told this is what it is and if we do not accept the invoice there is nothing that can be done, This is unacceptable and now we as clients are made out to be liars and are given the cold shoulder with this whole deal.
