Failure to submit a Tax Invoice after a purchase

During April of 2024, gentlemen promoting items and selling items at MBT Fuel station in Thabazimbi demonstrated vehicle polish to my husband. My husband supported them and bought a large batch because there are a couple of vehicles on the farm. The sale total was R3,600.00. The salesmen promised to submit us a tax invoice. we provided them all the details. Now my bookkeeper and auditors are questioning this purchase because I cannot provide a tax invoice. I could not reach anyone at this company and only find poor reviews for them online.
