Took my 2010 mercedes in for a service, only to later that be told that my car was not a 2010 and that i was liable for the repairs. when i queried this and indicated that the registration papers confirmed the year model, i was told that the car was possibly re-registered as it was a 2008 model.

on my own investigation, my car details were confirmed by another Mercedes Dealer.

this was still distupted, and on collecting my car with no service completed, i provided a copy f the papers and the car was incorectly captured on their data base.

They didnt bother to verify the vin number when the issue unfolded.

whats worse, they never apologised, nor did they accept any responsibilty.

i confirmed that the car was due for a service and they still needed to complete this under the motor plan.

i requested that they get a driver to take me home, but before i could finish i was told that i should take my car home and return the next day. nor did they offer a courtacy car.

i expressed my dissappointment and was told that they didnt charge me the labour cost. and that it was not the error what so ever.

Customer service, wow, what a joke
