Important legal documents not delivered

Important legal documents were sent by overnight post on the 28th of January 2014. It has not been delivered yet and the company seems to be indifferent towards the implications of their action or in this case NO ACTION.
The call center seems to find it amusing that these documents are now somewhere in a warehouse and nobody takes responsibility for it. I cannot believe that they can get away with this. They are actually causing serious damage to people who put their trust in them. I am not even allowed to have my documents back so that I can re-send them with another company. They are actually holding these documents illegally in their possession. Is there nothing we can do???
