Continuous Bad Service

Miscellaneous

On 14th January 2014 my Volvo S40 2.0 gave a number of error messages and then wouldn't start after switching off ignition. I arranged with Volvo assist to tow it to CMH Volvo Bryanston and was told they would start diagnosing it, I requested a loan vehicle but was told this was not possible. 15th Jan phoned service advisor (Cheri) who said had been busy with diagnosis since previous day. 17th Jan Cheri said appeared to be wiring harness, will take approximately 3 weeks to get one from Sweden, I again requested a loan vehicle. 20th January left message for Cheri, she called back much later and I again requested a loan vehicle, she said she would discuss with Morne (service manager) and revert which she did not do. 29 January phoned them, Michaael informed me Cheri had left and that the harness should arrive by end next week. I again requested loan vehicle, Michael said he would discuss with Morne. 30 Jan Michael phoned to say Morne had said there are no vehicles available. I told him that this was the sort of service I had grown to expect from Volvo. I have now been without a vehicle for 19 days and this is not the first time that I have had bad service from CMH Volvo Bryanston.
