Extended Warranty

My name is Thando Mjoyi 8005070409082. I purchased a 2 year extended warranty for my 2007 VW Polo 1.6Trendline from Mccathy insurance.
The policy I bought on the 30 January 2012 and when I call the today because my car does not start, they first told me my policy is pending and then later they tell me it has expired. In my undestanding if I bought a 2year warranty on the 30January 2012; it should expire on the 30 of january 2014. Nevertheless, I called them to ask for roadside assistance from 11:00AM today until about 14:53. I had to ask a friend to tow my car as I saw they were not helping. bottom line: now they tell me they will not resolve the problem for me as my policy has expired.

Please help, because when I get home the problem will still be there in the car and yet I have a warranty with Mccathy.
