Motor Glaze
Worst car-buy ever!

Miscellaneous

Never again! I bought a 2006 Citoen C3 1.4i SX for my son at Motor Glaze on 8 January 2014. The salesman told me that all their cars come from dealers and not auctions. The car would have been ready on 7 January. I spoke to the salesman on 8 January and he promised that the car would be ready at 15:00 on 8 January (the same day). I drove all the way from Potchefstroom to find that the car was not ready as promised and nobody informed me. I went back on 15 January to have the engine mounting replaced - I doubt whether it was really replaced as the same sound is still present. They did not phone me as promised to say that the car is ready. When I asked about the engine warning light that was still on (it would have been off after the oil-service) I walked into the lion's den. The owner (he really has a bad attitude) said that if the engine light bothers me I must buy another car - something for R500 000 or so. It's three weeks later: I've got the car but no NATIS, no RWC and no registration papers - only an invoice. The warranty waiver at the bottom states: "Setting a new standard in customer care" (LOL). I will never buy from this company again. I'm going to the Ombudsman now...
