Called the 'Fridgeman office last week & made an appointment for 09:30 for today, Monday 11th. Called again this morning to confirm the appointment. Went into more detail as to what I thought needed doing. I originally wanted the 'fridge. to be taken away to have the repairs made but as we only have one machine now, I asked if the technician could look at the same on site.
I explained money here is tight & I didn't want to spend a lot of money if it wasn't worth it. I was told the man would advise me when he arrived at 09:30.
At 09:01 the technician, Aubrey, called. He wanted to know more of what I had told his partner, (wife). Explained the same again. He insisted on being paid in cash & I replied that I would do an EFT but needed an estimate as I only keep a small amount of money here, (I t.t. What is needed from the U.K.). Aubrey then quoted an amount to fix the door over the 'phone. He seemed more concerned with my payment. I said I would E.F.T. the amount whilst he was here.
I was then given some sort of story about a broken car. I asked if he was still coming. He said "later. I'll call."
Over two hours later & an SMS, I finally get to speak to them. He isn't coming!
