During the end of September 2013 my family and I was on holiday at Sun City. When we got on the road back home our GWM H5 started overheating. Being a Sunday afternoon, I expected a lot of things that will not be possible and that we were going to be stuck in the middle of nowhere. We contacted the GWM road side assistance centre and after a initial hick up to find our policy on their system the clockwork was set in motion of an experience that any South African can only dream of when it comes to receiving service from any company. 1 Hour later our vehicle was picked up and transported to a security premises in Rustenburg. During the course of the next five days I received daily updates on what progress has been made and at what point in the process we found our selves. My vehicle was repaired under warranty and given back to me as good as new. NOT ONE PHONE CALL WAS MADE BY ME, to find out what is going on or what is happening or when will it finish. Well done GWM Rustenburg, you are in a league of your own. Your ability to constantly keep your customer informed and daily progress in resolving the problem should be the norm in our service industry and not the exception.
