Pathetic Service deserves for illegal dumping!!!

It is very disappointing to note that we, as abiding residential customers, pay a monthly fee to City of Johannesburg for Pikitup services, but we do not get the full benefit of this service.

I believe that the reason people resort to illegal dumping is because Pikitup does not want to take black bin bags full of trash that is not inside the black plastic bins itself!!! I have noticed this morning that the Pikitup workers have deliberately left all the black bin bags that are on the street (which were all kept right next to the plastic bags because they do not fit into the bins).

Currently, we have a street full of rubbish even though the Pikitup bin service has done their rounds today!!!

What do we do if the trash cannot fit into the bins??? Do we dump it somewhere else??? Or do we just leave it to fester in our back yards until the next week when Pikitup can take it - and that is, if it does fit into the black bins???

If we are paying for a service, I believe that we should be getting the service!!!
