Sanral E-toll - system lacking the intelligence

Our company registered E-tags for all our vehicles. Shortly after the money was deducted directly from our account and we received only statements for the outstanding money (no details).
The amounts did not add up and we requested a detailed breakdown. When we received it, we noticed that all of our trailers and compressors that were pulled behind the vehicles were also charged separately. Of course the trailers and compressors were not registered and were charged at the highest rate. Attempts to call the customer centre have been futile in an attempt to sort this out.
This also got me wondering how many people this is happening to that might not even be aware of this and is just paying.
