Below - Email i sent to AA on 16/01/2014 and still no reponse
Dear AA Management

I have purchased a car over this weekend after it passed the AA multipoint check. I have always trusted the AA testing due to my Dads experience with AA over his years of owning 22 vehicles.

I am disappointed in the AA because the car that I bought had really bad back brakes. They started to scratch alot on the day I got delivery of the car. I assumed it was just sand or brake dust squeaking and dismissed it because it had passed the AA test a two days before. I drove from jhb to richardsbay the next morning with my heart in my hand because it started squeaking and scratching alot louder half way to richards bay.

I took the car to Honda to check and discovered the pads were finished and really bad with 4mm of life on it.

It costed me R1500 to sort it but it could of costed us our Lives!!!

Is this what the AA stands for? Is this the level of service I should look forward to?

I have the AA report which I can forward to you. I await your response as I would like to know what the AA is doing about this.
