Paid within 7 days and getting harassing SMSs

I rarely drive on eToll roads, but when I did in December I went within 7 days to Sunninghill Village shopping centre and paid with my credit card all amounts that I was told were owing for my vehicle (on the 14th & 21st of December). This year on 8 January I started getting sms's saying my account was handed over to the VPC department and that I had overdue fees. I immediately went back to where I paid and asked the lady there to check, and they said nothing is showing as owing on my vehicle. She also started telling me a long story about how they are a different department and that it could take up to 10 days for my payments to reflect but I explained to her that its been over 4 weeks since I paid. I phoned the VPC department and asked how can I be owing when I paid in full within 7 days what the system showed I was owing. The support person told me there is no record of my payments.
It really irritates me that as somebody who has complied with the eToll law, I am getting harassed with smss. My question is where is the money I paid. Are the outlets money, or is Sanral's system so bad that they can't account for money paid at the outlets.
