What's the point of a trial?

I paid r350 for a trial on the Monday with a specific hairdresser for a very special family function that was happening that Sunday. At the function we had a professional photographer do photos with my whole extended family.
I liked my hair. And when I booked the trial for the Monday I asked the receptionist to please make sure you book me with someone who will be there that Sunday so they know what I want. The hairdresser Jess knew I had a family function and that this was a trial for that Sunday. When I arrived on the Sunday Jess wasn't there. What is the point of a trial? I am demanding my money back of R350 and I will never trust Carlton with my hair for any future function. What a disappointment. Not even a phone call. I had my hair done somewhere else and I hated it and now that's what I have to look at with the photos. Please call me for my credit card details I want my money back and an apology. How unprofessional!
