Damged furniture at pick up point in George

On the 12th & 13th Dec. 2013, Biddulphs packed my belongings at my house in George. They broke my cori-craft bench and dragged it on the ground without covering the benches. I immediately informed Nico at the George office and he told me that it will be fixed at the drop off point in Cape Town. When my goods arrived in Cape Town, I noticed that my solid black wood table was cracked, they packed shampoo amongst the clothes in the boxes that leaked onto the shoes, they did not pack all bedroom 3 cupboards as well as the kitchen cupboards. I was informed by the new residents at the George address that they found of my possessions in the house. I did not take out insurance with Biddulphs and have my own insurance but the damages I suffered was through the negligence of the employees of Biddulphs. Nico informed me that they will pay me a liability fee of R300-00. How gullable is that for a 8 seated solid black wood table and a cori-crafted bench and don't forget the shoes that was damaged with shampoo.
