After 11.5 years of driving my Opel 2.0IS i decided to upgrade my car to a Nissan Navara. Approached a big reputable dealership and agreed on a vehicle. Requested for a number of assessories to be put on and knowing it was december it was going to be slow so I was willing to wait although with have been nice to drive to the coast on holiday. I arranged my own finance. I insured and started paying for the vehicle in December already even though I did not take delivery as yet. Mccarthy Nissan issued the invoice to my finance house. My finance house issued the podium (reservation of vehicle and confirmation of deal) to the dealer.
Dealer was unable to produce a IGF certificate or a warranty certificate. I though not a train smash this can be sorted out. Due to limited time I went on leave to resume the deal in January. On return to work on the 6th January I contacted the bank and dealer to enquire status of the deal and delivery. DEALER INFORMED ME THE VEHICLE HS BEEN SOLD TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I was shell shocked. Dealer said I cancelled the deal and bank informed him. I approached the bank and this was not the case. Dealer could not produce any evidence of cancellation. EXCELLENT.
