Seriously poor quality coating

I recently purchased four sets (2 pots and pan) of Neoflam cookware for myself and as gifts from Makro Clearwater. I used the largest pot for the FIRST time this week and subsequent to washing, I noticed that a portion of the coating had come off, about the size of a 10c coin.

The pot was washed by hand and all care instructions were followed. This is extremely disappointing as I was led to believe that this was high quality cookware, and especially considering that I bought a total of 12 of these pots. I am now also extremely concerned about those that I had given as gifts. The smaller pot and pan from my set are unused and I am quite put-off from even giving them a try considering the experience I have had with the first pot.
