I returned my Lenovo as it is under warranty due to Bluescreen issues. When the laptop was open and running, the receptionist did a forced switch off (there was no reason to have done this). The hard drive has now lost its ability to boot and load the operating system. On calling Lenovo support, it is in their words, standard practice to have this happen to the drives during testing. Now i am forced to do forensic data recovery to rebuild and reconstitute the drive to extract the data required to continue working. From the outset in dealing with Partserve i have been left with almost no confidence that they are actually capable of doing the job they are appointed to do. As a person in the IT business for over 20 years, i have never experienced such a lack of professional work ethic. This whole experience has left me dumb founded, aside from the ability to take responsibility for anything happen, the standard response is they need to speak to a technical person.
