On request I paid the full price of R1100 before they would proceed with 2 canvas prints.
I went to fetch the prints as promised..Nobody could find them
The next day I picked up the prints just before closing time and questioned why they were paler than expected...
the staff were puzzled but in a rush to lock up. Not worth the confrontation I decided I would just have to get used to the paleness.
They were mounted by an unrelated framing business of my choice. Contrary to the promised date of completion 24/12/13 they were only ready for collection on 10/01/14.
The edges, corners and parts of the picture surface had little specs of white... pealing of the actual printing exposing the white canvas.
I showed the canvases to an up market printer Art lab at the Biscuit Mill. In their opinion the canvas was of an inferior quality also that the printer should have glazed the prints.
On returning to Fuji Image Centre conveying what Art lab had said they were unhelpful. I then via the shops telephone spoke to the owner Gary Deysel and related the story again. He basically was not interested and was busy with other clients, he said it was my fault for accepting the prints, he then hung up.
