Steelite
No quality control

I purchased a Suzuki 4x4 from Honda Midrand and asked for a towbar to be fitted. They chose the cheapest option. It was take it or leave it. The towbar was fitted by Steelite. It started to sag. When I inspected, I found only 3 of 4 bolts holding it in place. The fourth bolt had been stripped. I avoided a serious accident. There is no inspection before delivery. There is evidence that the bolt was never tightened. I mailed the dealer and steelite. Absolutely no response. I have repaired the stripped nut and replaced the towbar with a bosal.
