Customer Scarred after being burnt during waxing

I took my daughter (14) for a hair removal hot wax session and when I saw her afterwards we realised that her legs were blistered / burnt due the wax being too hot. The were really badly burnt. We know that it was a result of overheated wax and not an allergic reaction as the burns were localised and she had identical treatment before without any side-effects.

I immediately called the salon and advised them that my daughters legs were burnt and wanted to know what I should do! The lady that answered the phoned advised that she would get the owner to call me back which never happened.

Over a month has passed and no call or help and my daughter's legs are now scarred!
I would like someone to assist in having the scarring treated to minimise the visual impact.

I have pictures to prove the burns and the scarring as well as evidence of the phone call to the salon.

Please would someone advise us of our rights and the best course if action to pursue - thanks
