Before you laugh, I am one of the village who bougt not 1 but 5 e-tags as I would like not to be stopped by our dear authorities. When my e-tag beeped twice I immediately logged on to the website and verified that funds were required.
I paid R500 via the EFT method into their banking account and waited the customary 5 days for it to be credited to my account. Guess what it is now 11 days later and 7 complaints later and they still have yet to credit my account / find the money. What makes it worse is that I have followed the correct procedure and have even sent them copies of there website, by bank statement, proof of payment, my payment profile and their Enquiry record.
Where i find myself now is that they have closed all the logged requests / complaints without contacting me.
I declare I will not pay another cent into my e-toll account and do look forward to my day in court.
