How to pay???

We passed through Gauteng over the weekend, we are from the Free state and was not sure how E-toll works, we were told that we don't need to get a e-toll disk we will get an account in the post and then we can make payment. I phoned this morning and was told we can't pay the account via eft we need to go in to one of their service stations and register and then only we can pay via eft... so we have to drive 300 km go through all the toll gates and e-toll to register and come back to pay via eft... pathetic!!! This convinced me even more to never move to Gauteng!!!
