We heard on a radio station of the savings to be made on electrical consumption. We installed a POC at a cost of R13, 000. Our 1st municipal statement was 731 units vs Global's 436. The lack of saving was reported immediately to GC. Subsequent statements vs Global rdgs have failed dismally to reflect a saving. There followed no after sales service, a disinclination to discuss the matter, investigate or correct the POC failure. E-mails received were withount writer's name or designation. Eventually after 3 months a technician came, altered the POC setting (originally chosen by him) which closed the gap between Global and municipal rdgs, but still effected no saving. The on-going complaints achieved nothing. We cancelled the contract in the last wk of the given 4 month guarantee. It has neither been acknowledged nor honoured. A tech appeared THEREAFTER to change the installation! We refused as it would have been in violation of the guarantee and would take at least another 2 months to attempt to prove a saving. We need GC to honour its advertised guarantee to refund our money, and further we claim reimbursement of 25% on each municipal statement within the guarantee period.
