OLX is a Haven for Artists

In the last two weeks I listed four items on OLX. Within minutes of posting each one I was inundated with phone calls from very keen buyers who all wanted to deposit the money into my account and then after I received a deposit notice, wanted me to drop the goods off. Luckily I am not a total and could easily spot the fake deposits and decided not to drop the goods as per the request. Having phoned back each scammer, they either claim that they're legit and ask me to just return their deposits (yeah right) or simply slam the phone down. It seems that OLX has become the ultimate haven for artists and trying to get hold of OLX to give them the offending cell numbers (which all presumably are RICA's and can therefore be traced) has proven fruitless.
DON'T USE OLX as every contact seems to be a or if you must INSIST on cash only and meet in a public place.
