20 Year warrantee not vallid

On the 13th of March 2010 we've purchased a Body Cushion 188 King size mattress from Mattress City in Nelspruit for R6300. The mattress has a 20 years warrantee. After 3 and a half years the sides have collapsed. They've send out a valuator, Steven Jaga, who confirmed it. We've received a letter from Stuart Autty telling us that the specific mattress has been discontinued and that they will, in good faith, replace it with a Heritage Dreamrest, but we have to pay in R4170.60, more than half the selling price of R7000 at Mattress City. We've been using it for not even a fifth of its warrantee. We've written via registered post, to the director, W.H. van der Westhuzen, explaining to him that we don't want the king size and prefer 2 single bed mattresses as we've lost confidence in their product and will be using it in a guestroom, where there is less trafficking, on a king size bass. If there is a default again it hopefully won't be both. The letter was picked up by J.A. Joseph Ross on the 14th of November. We haven't received any feedback.
