BREACH OF CONTRACT

On 18 November she promised my husband that the furniture will be delivered on Friday, 22 November.
I went to Small Claims Court and was issued with a Letter of Demand.
The Police and I went to serve the document to her [she was not home] but found her husband, who now recognized my car from 6 previous visits.
He was handed the document to look at and he explained "We have no furniture at the moment [delivery Friday??? ye right], but he could have furniture finished by next Friday? Really? Seriously?
